I’m waiting on my fuel rail repair parts (Mopar had a kit), so I decided to install my LED bar that arrived on Friday:
Working on resolving my “poor” economy issues on my Voyager (1994 3.8L swapped) last night, found a bad MAP sensor caused by a bad PCV. In the process of replacing those I kept smelling gas, traced the smell to find my fuel rail leaking.
Got my intake plenum pulled off and split open last night:
Got the spacers made and valve covers pulled, figured I’d get them painted up:
Upgraded my lights this weekend, just in time for the load of garbage weather we’re supposed to get this week:
So I took my old 95 Acclaim from this:
Decided to use the 3.0 I have in the garage after finding the “free” van is too nice to scrap.
Getting tired of dealing with issues left from the PO on my new beater. I have stumbled across a 98 Caravan 3.3L/4-speed for nothing.
My love for 90s Mopar vans has finally overcome my want for a classic car, so it’s time to part ways with my 66 Electra 225 4 door hardtop.
Finally been able to get some work done on the old girl.
Got the swap all buttoned up last night. Everything went very smoothly.
Pulled the old engine, swapped the engine bay harness:
So after 194k miles of abuse, my original trans is finally giving up.
